Glorians
One of the most persistent barriers to meaningful environmental action is the distance people feel from it: the sense that it is too vast, too systemic, too far from the rhythms of daily life.
Glorians provides a tangible and personal starting point, leading with a simple question:
What would you protect,
if you committed to protect one thing?
The Glorian is hand-built in clay, wrapped in foliage, and smoke-fired. Its head is removable, revealing a hollow body within.
The owner writes the name of a place they commit to protect, place their note inside, and replace the head, making a private act of custodianship that echoes the land stewardship practised by ancestors and Indigenous cultures worldwide.
