Elisa Bartels’ art series ‘Bark’ delves into the captivating universe of trees.

A variety of clays are manipulated and stamped; subjecting them to multiple firings before being arranged on plywood boards. 

The result is a meditative interplay of textures and visuals that evoke the life cycle of trees.
